The laboratory is accredited to perform Electromagnetic compatibility Tests (Accredited Tests List).

The laboratory performs electromagnetic compatibility tests for the following product categories:
  • Electrical and electronic equipment for use in a residential or industrial environment;
  • Scientific and medical industrial equipment;
  • Information and multimedia technology equipment;
  • Home appliances;
  • Lighting equipment;
  • Telecommunication / Military Equipment.
The tests performed by the Laboratory are:
  • Radiated disturbance measurement;
  • Conducted disturbance measurement;
  • Measurement of harmonic current emissions;
  • Measurement of Voltage variations, fluctuations and flicker;
  • Electrostatic Discharge Immunity Test (ESD);
  • Electrical Fast Transient / Burst Immunity Test;
  • Surge immunity test;
  • Immunity test for conducted disturbances, induced by radiofrequency fields;
  • Network frequency magnetic field immunity test;
  • Immunity test for voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations.
The tests carried out by the Laboratory are required in order to comply with the European Directive on Electromagnetic Compatibility (2014/30/EU) and with the European Directive on Radio Equipment (2014/53/EU) for the purposes of CE-marking the product.

The Laboratory is able to perform tests in accordance with the CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Committee), EN (European Standards, CEN and CENELEC), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), ANSI (American National Standards Institute) ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and MIL standards.
